Around 1930, the Grand Hotel Kortenberg, also called Faro, was the most stately hotel restaurant of Kortenberg and the surrounding area. It was well known for the high quality of its food and service and for its sweet Faro beer kept in barrels in special basements under the hotel in a sandy soil. Restaurant La Strada is stationed in this beautiful building and just like Faro sees quality of food and service as its number one priority. As a result, the restaurant received many awards for its delicious food and irreproachable service.
La Strada has room for 70 people and is very well suited for birthday parties, receptions or other celebratory occasions. At the entrance, one can choose to go to the table immediately, or enjoy an aperitif or a fresh made cocktail in one of the big leather couches. The many aromatic candles, the friendly staff and pleasant music make La Strada a unique and romantic place where you can enjoy the serene atmosphere and where you will feel at home. The menu is mainly French and Italian with Swedish and Spanish influences. It was the first restaurant of its kind to use daily fresh organic products.
