Coffee Club

The Coffee Club was the first food chain in Belgium to offer certified Fairtrade coffee. With its slogan ‘Coffee & Food’, the Belgian chain claims to be a true coffee specialist, but also offers a large assortment of lunches and pastries, either to eat on the spot or to go. Free WiFi is also made available to customers as well as magazines, including your free copy of (A)WAY. The first two Clubs, located on the Rue du Bailli and in Louvain-La-Neuve’s shopping centre, have been totally revamped in November to launch what should be the future of the brand.

Winery

After its success in Ixelles, Winery has opened its second shop in the European neighbourhood right next to Schuman. It is completely devoted to worshiping the nectar of the Gods. The bar is limpid and light, and wine and food suggestions are displayed on the blackboard every day. The shop, separated by a curtain, has a wide choice of wines from France and other European countries. Whether you’re meeting with friends after work or simply want to take a few bottles home, the sommelier will help you choose, whilst respecting your palate and budget. Delivery is free in the Brussels area.

Cube Resto

Located on the ground floor of the new Leopold Village in the Schuman district, the newly opened Cube Restaurant has a mission: to re-energise the neighbourhood and become the new meeting point for a tasty meal. The surprising design of Cube is reminiscent of the fifties: a mix of concrete and stainless steel with soft lighting and curves. Go a la carte or choose from their three-course menus: Belgian or Exotic – €40, Balade gourmande – €55 and the New Year’s Eve Menu – €70. Happy hours from 4.30 to 6.30 pm and possibility to book the ground floor and/or mezzanine for business dinners.
