Brussels International Sailing Club (BISC) is about sailing – as simple as that.  We’re not a formal or commercial club, nor are we all expert sailors. What everyone in the club has in common is that we enjoy messing about in boats. That can mean small boat sailing in Holland on summer Sundays, or a week cruising the south coast of Denmark or further afield.

As well as the sailing we have educational evenings where we get someone to talk about a recent trip, or we might have a visit from the Belgian Life Boat Association. In the past we have visited the bridge on a cross-channel ferry, and even practised getting into a life-raft in a swimming pool (it can be tough!). Plus there are informal socials, dinners, slide evenings, perhaps the odd quiz or two. You don’t have to be experienced sailors, as long as you’re willing to learn.
